Ok so I saw this lamp on craigslist for $10 and I've really been needing a floor lamp to help bring together the vision I have for my living room (which is like 2 ft by 2ft) at first I hated it but something made keep looking back at it....well 2 days later it was posted for free so I figured what the heck and picked it up. When I brought it in the house my hubby looked at me like I was smoking something, lol...but I must say this lamp spruced up really nice. I spray painted the base with glossy black spray paint, got a "new" lamp shade from my local ThriftTown and covered it with a patterned fabric and voila! I think this lamp is now my favorite piece of furniture in my house! LOVES IT!
